Decision to create Northmeadow, was - as you can imagine - stuck in one agent´s lane, the next agent on the production server, which is openclaw-agents asked the same thing again or had zero knowledge. As we needed security non-encrypted from everyone accessible files, was not a solution.
the current version shows notes per mandate (project, client, department); people work in a local browser UI.
Chrome (or Edge) opens a copy of a folder in plain md file for CC or Codex. Changes then flow back while page and mandate are open
AES-256-GCM-SIV, Key of PIN (scrypt) and Passkey (WebAuthn PRF) with HKDF combined, optional a Recovery-Key.
Installation by one command in Win-Wsl2, Linux and MacOS. Native Linux (tested on Ubuntu needs a FIDO2 key or phone via QR Code.
Just to be mentioned: Code is closed (evaluation licence). But the verifier is Apache-2.0. Alpha1-version is the folder copy still unencrypted. What an agent reads in the folder is for now not in the record. MCP is certainly in the works.
If you don t mind: Tell ... what breaks? ... what´s missing? Here or in Github discussions, comments are welcome.
