Show HN: SpotKat – a free cat register with a lost-cat network

It would probably not fit the name, but having dogs for that would be really valuable too. Also showing the stats on how many reports / found / missed cats would be helpful for building trust. Good luck with this project!

Apps will work only in Benelux for now (launching everywhere soon) Website is also contains a lot of useful information about cats.

I build this as we lost our cat and the only people who were helping were our neighbours. Posters work, but barely, while chats/facebook worked the best. The only problem was sharing the reports. I thought that making an app could help and we actually got some sightings of similar cats from other neighbours. This is much more convinient than adding someone as a contact and sending them a WA message.
