Owner of Former UWS Barbecue Restaurant Indicted for Wage Theft: Manhattan DA

That kind of brazen theft says one of two things:

   1. That guy is a craven idiot
   2. This is super easy to get away with and everyone does it

I'm hoping for (1), but I fear it's (2).

The vast majority of theft is of this type but it is almost never prosecuted.
