Ask HN: Are you working less? By how much?

Im a retired developer and, as far as software development goes, I'm busier (maybe just more productive) than ever. The only difference is that now Im just building things for myself, so, more work but it's hobby work.

In my case, the workload increased, but the stress decreased. I used to spend the entire day thinking about code, to the point of going to a bar with friends and asking for a pen and napkin to write down ideas that could solve challenges at work. I'm happy, but I feel like I need to be careful not to fall into the trap of using several agents at the same time and losing control.
