GizmoSQL changes the unit economics for AI analyst companies

Self-service AI analytics products turn a question into SQL and run it against their customers' data warehouse to derive insights for their dashboards.

Snowflake's cache is a cost saver if the dashboard runs the same SQL again and the underlying data has not changed.

GizmoSQL would take the rows from that first query and hold them in DuckDB temporarily. Subsequent questions on the dashboard would save over 50% of the customer's bill.

If the customer spends less on their data warehouse bill querying data with the AI Analyst, they have an incentive to spend more money bringing more revenue for the tools.
