Herbert A. Wertheim is an American optometrist, inventor, billionaire businessman, and philanthropist. He is the founder and president of Brain Power Incorporated. Wertheim developed ultraviolet light-absorbing dyes for plastic ophthalmic lenses during the late 1960s.
