I while back I posted a chatgpt analysis of the percentage of articles (from main stream journalism outlets) positive about technology vs negative. The answer was unambiguously negative - around 70-80% negative vs 10% positive. Generally these type of media outlets hinge on negativity and cynicism.

Optimism is seen as childish.
