Why the failure of Blue Origin's New Glenn rocket is so catastrophic

It's actually a good thing that it failed.

That failure is creating jobs, keeping people employed, and keeping money flowing in the economy. The longer it takes for Blue Origin to work out the flaws in their system, the better it is for the 99%.
