North America's largest commuter rail system faces a potential shutdown

I'm currently at work at the Long Island Railroad. If the Company and unions don't come back to the negotiation we're all walking off the job at 12:01 am. The energy here is palpable... it's going to get very messy if we strike.

This is just extortion. There shouldn’t be unions in the public sector or private sector when it’s mostly funded by public funds and there’s no competition possible.
