Reaffirming our commitment to child safety in the face of European Union inactio

In case any Americans are confused, EU Chat Control was never about protecting children. It was about giving tech giants (mostly US based companies) a blanket excuse to spy on end users even on services which are marketed as end-to-end encrypted.

But even if we give the benefit of the doubt and consider it as a measure to fight online CSAM, anyone with a basic understanding of the world would realise that such a measure would at best be useless and at worst detrimental to authorities’ ability to protect children. On account of being overwhelmed with false positives.

And let’s not even go into the implications of enlisting private corporate giants as a sort of auxiliary police force.

Outright arrogant.

Time to remove all involved companies from European markets.

If they care so much about child safety they should check first the Epstein files.
