> Is this expected behaviour for Bandwidth Sharing?

From https://support.salad.com/article/253-what-is-bandwidth-shar...

> What Are The Risks?

> Here are two rare situations that could occur when sharing your bandwidth on Salad:

> 1. Internet Service Provider (ISP) Data Cap [...]

> 2. Streaming Service Block

I expect these to be common situations instead of rare situations.

I saw the evidence you posted on reddit. This is a blunder of a miss by the Salad folks. I do not blame you at all if you move forward with legal action against Salad. They have a responsibility to their users and I am a tech industry lawyer that has reviewed their policies - they would have their work cut out for them trying to justify how non video streaming content passed through your device.

Clearly indicating which exact type of traffic they would be allowing over your device and deviating far enough away from that to result in bruteforcing is not at all acceptable. I can share my contact details or refer you to someone closer to you if you're looking for reliable legal representation for this battle.
